Information we collect
When you order or contact us, we collect the information needed to respond and fulfil your order: your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, phone number if supplied, order details, payment status and references, and your correspondence.
The website and its services also collect technical information, such as IP address, browser details and page activity, to operate the site, understand visits and help prevent misuse.
Guest checkout is available. You do not need to create a store account. Without the delivery and contact information required at checkout, we cannot fulfil an order.
How information is used and shared
We use your information to process payments, pack and post orders, send order updates, answer questions, deal with returns and disputes, and keep business records.
Information is handled through our website, hosting and email systems. Delivery details are provided to the postal service handling your parcel. Service providers receive information needed for their part of the transaction or website service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Payments: PayPal processes payments, including card payments offered through PayPal. Order and billing information is shared with PayPal to process and support the payment. See PayPal’s Privacy Statement. Please do not send card numbers by email.
Site statistics: We use Jetpack Stats to understand site traffic. Automattic, its provider, processes information such as IP address, browser details, pages visited, referring pages and visit times. See Jetpack Stats privacy information and Automattic’s notice for site visitors.
Spam and abuse prevention: We use Google reCAPTCHA to help distinguish legitimate activity from automated abuse. Google processes technical and interaction information on our behalf for security, fraud and abuse prevention. reCAPTCHA also uses a cookie for its risk analysis.
PayPal and Automattic operate internationally and may process information outside Australia. See PayPal’s Privacy Statement and Automattic’s Privacy Policy for their international operations. Shipping only within Australia does not mean all information is processed here.
Cookies, reviews and email preferences
Cookies help remember your cart and support checkout. Website statistics and payment services may also use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking them may affect the cart or payment process.
If a product review is published, the review, rating and display name you provide are public. Please keep private contact or order details out of your review.
Marketing is optional. Placing an order is not itself permission to send you marketing, and a customer record does not mean you have subscribed.
We send essential emails about your order, such as order confirmations and updates, whether or not you choose marketing. You can contact us about your email preferences at any time. If you subscribe to marketing, you can unsubscribe through the link in those emails or by contacting us.
Retention and your requests
We keep order and correspondence records for fulfilment, customer service, disputes and business record keeping. Order records are not currently set to be deleted automatically after a fixed period.
Email dnc@donotcomply.au to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before sharing or changing records. Some information may need to be retained for legal or transaction-related reasons; we will explain any limits that apply to your request.
For a complaint, tell us what happened and the outcome you are seeking. We will review it and respond to you. We will update this policy when our handling practices change.
